Description: An official group on a platform for a ceremony in the school yard. The picture was dated on the back (in 1971) as being taken c 1890, but the fashions look later than that, and was perhaps taken around 1900's-1910. The School opened on 19 November 1880. The school was formerly called the Alfreton Road Board School.
