Description: The building of the Church in 1843 by William Surplice was largely sponsored by Ichabod Wright of Mapperley Hall. Chancel was added 1866-77 by Jackson & Heazell, the North aisle in 1922, by AE Heazell & Son (all Nottingham architects). The building is ashlar, with ashlar dressings and slate roofs in the gothic revival style.
