Description: Nottingham's first public tram service to run in Nottingham was horse drawn and belonged to the Nottingham and District Tramway Co. Ltd. They commenced service on 17th September 1878 with two services, one from St Peter's Church to Trent Bridge via Carrington St and Arkwright St, and St Peter's Church to London Road Via Carrington Street and Arkwright Street and Station Street
