Description: Lady Laura Elizabeth Palmer, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Roundell Palmer, 1st Earl of Selbourne and Laura Waldegrave was married to Rt. Rev. George Ridding. He was Head Master of Winchester College and became the 1st Bishop of Southwell in 1884. Lady Laura Ridding helped him with his work and was involved with local groups and committees such as the Southwell Board of Guardians.
