Description: As seen from Newark Street. The new house visible on the left is part of the Newark Crescent estate which occupies the former LNWR goods sidings. The large building in the centre is one of the former GNR goods warehouses on the east side of London Road. The chimney belongs to City's refuse disposal incinerator which was built in the early 1970's.
