Twells Street has been demolished it was next to Jackson Street, about 200 yards from Ransom Road. (Information supplied by Patrick Underwood)

Twells Street was further north up St Anns Well Road, more or less where Angrave St is. There was only one other street after Twells Street till one got to St Bartholomews Street (Donkey Hill) (Information supplied by Mavis Paskulich).
