Description:
The bridge carrying the old A610 over the former Great Northern Railway Line, as seen from beneath the bridge carrying the new A610. Through the arch was the Langley Mill and Eastwood Station. The bridge seen here was later demolished and the road continued, to bypass Codnor and Ripley in Derbyshire.
Opened 6th July 1974, the greater part of the bypass occupies the site of the Great Northern Railway line and the Nottingham Canal.
