Description:
The Parsonage in the South East corner of Clumber Stableyard.
The Earl and Countess of Lincoln lived in it during the 1930s and after their divorce (1940) and the demolition of Clumber House (June 1938). The Earl - who became the 9th Duke of Newcastle from 1941 - contrived to live there whilst home on leave from his duties with the Royal Auxilary Air Force until the estate was sold in 1946.
