Description:

This post mill was situated in an isolated spot to the west of Plumtree village. It is shown as 'Old Windmill' on maps of 1900 and 1914 (thus suggesting it was disused) and another source suggests it was damaged by fire in 1913. The remains were still standing in 1929 (see NTGM022186) but had disappeared by the early 1960s.
