Description: Left: Cooper and Rae Factory, right: former Hogarth School. This side of the school was the girl's and infants entrance (dating from the time when the shool was built, in 1884, when boys and girls had separate entrances.) The ground floor was, at that time allocated for 300 boys and the upper floor for 300 girls. See also NTGM005169. The school closed in 1976 and a new Hogarth School was built on Porchester Road. Part of the building was then used as a Hindu Temple, and the Carlton Road frontage was demolished
