Description: Looking east along South Parade towards The Exchange. The Exchange, was built by the Corporation of Nottingham to house commercial activities, and was completed in 1726. By1815, it needed considerable repair and remodelling. The Exchange building was replaced by the Council House, built in 1927-9 by Cecil T Howitt.
