Description: Eldon Chambers, Wheeler Gate was built by Robert Evans (1832-1911), a pupil of Nottingham's foremost Victorian architect, Thomas Chambers Hine. The buildings was built in c 1867, and was one of his first solo assignments after leaving Hine.
