Description: A contact print from the original glass plate. Wollaton Park stands just outside Nottingham. The hall was built between 1580 and 1588 and is a fine example of Elizabethan architecture. It was built for Sir Francis Willoughby by the architect of Longleat, Robert Smythson. It is now owned by Nottingham City Council and houses a natural history museum. In this photograph the carriage is travelling through the large deer park attached to the house.
