Michael Hopkins also designed the Manchester Art Gallery, the Jubilee Campus at Nottingham University, the New Parliamentary buildings and Westminster Underground Station in London and Glynebourne Opera House (and many others). The company was formed in 1976 and has five partners: Sir Michael Hopkins, Patty Hopkins, John Pringle, Ian Sharratt and Bill Taylor. The practice works from an office in Marylebone, designed and built by the firm in 1984, and comprises a total of sixty persons.
