Description:
The yard area of the leather works on the banks of the River Trent. Edward and John Turney founded the Tannery on the River Trent in 1861. Turney Brothers Limited produced 'Trent Bridge' willow calf which became famous as one of the first UK full chrome calf leathers produced in many colours for the ladies shoe trade.
