Description: The school was typical in appearance to many other Victorian schools; tall windows, brick, gothic, and the boys and girls had separate entrances. The school was built in 1884. The ground floor could provide education for 300 boys and the upper floor for 300 girls. See also NTGM005169. The school closed in 1976 and a new Hogarth School was built on Porchester Road. Part of the building was then used as a Hindu Temple, and the Carlton Road frontage was later demolished
