Description: Showing the Georgian rectory, home until 1955 of Lt. Col. Peter Clifton, last member of the Clifton Family (previously of Clifton Hall) to reside in the Wilford-Clifton area. The picture was painted whilst the artist was staying at Clifton Hall (1820-30). The Old Rectory is now a care home.
