Description: The architect was William Booker. The foundation stone was laid on 3 April 1850. In 1910 the fabric was sold to the Mechanics Institute for £15,600 which enabled the congregation to build the present church in the early English Gothic style at the junction of Gregory Boulevard and Sherwood Rise.
