Description: The Norris Homes or Almshouses are situated on the road linking Sherwood Rise to Hyson Green. They were erected in 1893, as a memorial to John Smith Norris by his Sister, and 'are for eight persons of limited incomes'. The almshouses were designed by Watson Fothergill
