Description:

The building, and the shop on the corner of Howard Street/Huntingdon Street used to be 'Robin Hood Coaches'. The shop on the corner being the booking office and the 'Playland Amusements' doorspace, which, you can see from the photo, has been narrowed, used to be the entrance to the workshops. This was in the late 1940s and early 1950s. (information kindly supplied by John Clayton).
