Description:
This small part of Sneinton was somewhat distant when it was first built in the early nineteenth century. It was scheduled for redevelopment in 1939 but was postponed because of the war. Because of its poor condition, permission was granted by the government for clearance to begin in 1952, before the main campaign began. Chadworth Close was a small new council estate built on the site.
