Description:
Shows St Christopher's Church, Meadow Lane, Sneinton before it was relocated to Colwick Road, Sneinton c1902. The Meadow Lane Church continued to be used as a mission church by St Christopher's until it was destroyed in the bombing raid of May 8/9th 1941. This information has been obtained from Mr S Best and some past and current members of St Christoper's Church.
Probably taken from the upper floor of the Town Arms. Most of the buildings on the south side were demolished for the erection of Turney's Leather Works in 1911.
