Description:
The Almshouses at the corner of Ryehill Street and London Road were built in 1859 with money from a Miss Ann Burton. They were demolished under the 1970s clearance scheme and new ones were erected with another charity near St. George's Church.
Taken from Geoffrey Oldfield's book on Nottingham published by Breedon Books, 2007.
