Description: Woodthorpe Grange and its land were purchased by the City Council and laid out as a public park in 1921. Running through the park then was part of the Nottingham Suburban Railway. It passed under Woodborough Road through a cutting, with a station at Sherwood. It then passed through a tunnel and a bridge under Woodthorpe Drive to Daybrook.
