Description:
To the right of the stone is the City territory; to the left of it the territory of Gedling Borough Concil (until June 1974, Carlton Urban District Council). it is made of cast iron. By the left side of the marker stood one with Carlton Urban District Council inscribed on it, but this was removed shortly after the change of authority on the above date. Its locatation on Oakdale Road is just south of Dovedale Road.
