Description:

Looking south-east from Boden Street; Washouse shown. Building opened in 1880, laundry added in 1926 and refurbished in 1965.

Radford Baths was used for swimming lessons in the summer term by local primary schools in Radford, Lenton and Dunkirk through to the 1960s. Each pupil over the age of eight got a 30 minute lesson with an instructor. There were men's cubicles on one side of the pool and women's cubicles on the other.
