Description:

Opened in 1927 with sixteen male and 8 female baths; closed in 1971. Also known as 'Private Baths' to denote individual use.

One of our visitors sent the following comment: A weekly bath here would cost 7p, sometimes you had to sit and wait for a vacant bath. After someone had used the bath a guy would clean them and then it would be your turn. The baths were very large and clean.
