Looking toward Tuxford.
04 class locomotive no. 63622
The engine is travelling 'Light' (i.e. without a train). Note the stop signal in the 'Off' position (at 45 degrees) confirms the engine is running tender-first, away from the viewer. This signal also indicated the engine's destination to be further along the line, rather than the partially hidden sidings on the other side of the tracks.
Boughton's Railway Station was between Ollerton and Tuxford. (Additional information very kindly supplied by David Hull).
