Website contributor Maurice Cole states: 'the location of this and related photographs is an outbuilding to Holly Crooks Cottage, Gonalston Lane, on the edge of Hoveringham. The brewery brought barrels to the workshop for repair as William approached retirement. William, or preferably 'Bill', Cole was my father's cousin and I have fond memories of my visits there.'
