Looking north east from Radford Road. The cafe (three storey building next to the post office) which in latter years became a take away was the scene of a murder in the 1980's the body was stored in an outside toilet and was only discovered when the postmaster next door complained about the 'smelling drains'. The corner shop on the left used to be 'Les Banham Barbers', apparently, no matter what style you asked for you came out with short back and sides! The owners son played for Nottingham Forest and the shop walls were covered in pictures of him.
