G. J. Hourd, baker at no 104; Wm. E. Thorpe butcher at no. 106 then Alfred Street Central and the Craven Arms P.H. 1953 Kelly's directory. 106 was taken over by HB Lindley, butchers within a few years of this photo and then became a dressmaker's owned by Mr. Johal.
