Description:

This picture shows a former textile mill at the junction of Longden Street and St Luke's Street. Tennant Rubber now occupy the ground floor of the building (address is Carlton Road). On the extreme left of the picture is Carlton Road. The building on the far left the former St. Luke's Parochial School.

In the 1950s this was home to the Russell Boys Club.
