Thursby Road on left.

One contributor suggests that this image was probably taken about 1975, the give away being the sodium street lights. Born in Clifton in 1960, he remembers the sodium lights gradually replacing the old white bulb street lamps in the mid 70s, starting at the bottom (North) end of Clifton and working up. (Information kindly supplied by Ian Miller).
