Description:

Demolition of the toll bridge (seen in photos NTGM019670-76) which carried the A57 over the River Trent. This shows the east pier and east approach buttress, seen from the west bank of the river. On the right is the temporary road bridge (Reg Baker).

Bridge has since been re-built and widened and is still a toll bridge.
