Description:
This church fell into disuse in 1940. It was used as a motor-vehicle repair garage until 1976, which explains the double, sliding doors. When the photograph was taken, it was in use as a garage for the owners of the adjacent property, which was previously the Wesleyan Chapel.
A stone on the front is engraved with 1896; the porch was the entrance to the chapel until it was converted into a dwelling.
Located on the northern fringe of the village, Church Gate forms part of the road to Cropwell Bishop and Langar.
Both buildings have probably been demolished.
