Description:

A Derby 'Heavyweight' Class 114 2-car diesel multiple unit calling at Netherfield and Colwick station with a train from Grantham to Nottingham. The station was renamed plain Netherfield in 1974 and the buildings seen here have since been removed. The houses in the background are in Ashwell, Carnarvon and Bourne Streets. Looking north.
